I learned that hanging your skirt on the shower rod while you take a reallly warm shower is just as effective as ironing for getting wrinkles out.
…especially when you don’t have/dont know how to iron……

I’ve learned that you are never the only one awake in a college dorm.
I’ve learned how to co-exist with a roommate who was about as opposite from me as a lemon is from an earthworm.
Which, in case you were wondering, is a lot.
I’ve learned that sprinting across campus at 10am hungover pays off in the end. TWO QUADS IN RAND!

I’ve learned that we meet people because there’s something we’re meant to be for each other.
We can each of us be a teacher, a mirror, a hard truth, an inspiration, a motivator, comic relief, a support system, a disguise, a partner in crime, a receptacle, a puzzle, a love, a hate, an annoyance, an example, a guiding force, a weak link, a help, a sister and a friend, and so much much more.
We need each other to understand ourselves.
I’ve learned how to make enough food to be able to sustain myself.
Prior to college, I could make a sandwich.
Now, I can make ramen noodles, mac and cheese, ravioli, salad, pizzas, pizza bagles, chicken nuggets, quesadillas, and maybe some other things on a good day or with help.
Today I even made soup.
Like…from a can.
Yes, I will survive.
I’ve learned that you can’t make Easy Mac with just boiling water. A microwave, like it says on the directions, really is required.
